Between the lines, Behind the Lens 5
The GUIDON launches its 5th Between the Lines, Behind the Lens contest for photography,graphic design, and essay writing. An annual fundraising project, BTL was born from The GUIDON's thrusts of showcasing journalistic excellence and reaching out beyond the Ateneo community
Photos
1. The theme of the photography competition is "Sexuality."
2. Photographs may be taken using a digital or film camera.
3. A maximum of four (4) photographs per person may be submitted.
4. Entrance fee is PhP50 per photo for students enrolled in any university or college and PhP100 per photo for non-student participants (alumni, faculty).
5. Entries may be monochrome or colored. Only minor enhancements are allowed (sharpening, levels, contrast, and brightness).
6. Photographs should be 8" x 10" or 8" x 12" in size. They should be placed on the back side of a ¼ size illustration board and wrapped in plastic cover.
7. The following details should be written on the upper right hand side of the white side of the illustration board:
a. Title
b. Shutter speed, aperture, ISO rating, camera used
c. Type of film used, if any.
8. The following details should be written on the lower right corner of the illustration board:
a. Your full name, age, university/college
b. Photo club/organization (if any)
c. Email address and mobile phone number
9. Photographs should not have won in any previous competition.
10. Criteria:
a. Creativity……………40%
b. Composition…………40%
c. Relevance to Topic….15%
d. Title…………………...5%
11. There is no restriction on the time the works were created.
12. Contestan€“ ts are responsible for any charge of plagiarism that may arise. Plagiarized entries will not be exhibited.

Philip Sison - Professional photographer
Ernie Sarmiento - Chief Photographer, Philippine Daily Inquirer
