nut at the gym

I just went back to the gym...

i knew i had muscles
now i know they are still there
years of "being too busy" took its toll
now i've got aches and pains to spare

for once it's a morning schedule
not at night the way i did before
off to work in shirt, jogging pants and sneakers
still no tights and leotards for me on the floor

hunky gym instructor likes lifestyle network
wolfgang puck to be more specific
was interested in the season ender of surface
but i still didn't get his name, not even a nick

off to a good start, perhaps with the weights
leg raises have always been hell
showed off with the dumbells and asked for 10
but even with 8, i couldn't finish the set well

warmed up on the bike but couldn't make 20 minutes
he gave me 10, but i was stopping at 5 was what i wished
cooled down on the threadmill also for 10 minutes
wobbled at the start and also after i finished

so i'm back to working out at the gym
it's an office-related thing
cheapo rates for employees and associates
affordable good-enough exercising
