Talk about testosterone overdrive... This is one male movie. If you're female, you have to appreciate blood, gore and great male bods to enjoy this.

The plot is pretty simple. 300 Spartan warriors go off to meet with the Persian horde. Yes, they fought valiantly.

To me, the story is more about the Spartan way of life -- the warrior society that breeds nothing but fighters. It tells the story of how they lived and died.

Cinematically, the texture is superb. The technique simply emphasized lights and shadows by providing more contrast. The result is visually amazing. It also helps temper the blood and gore by giving it the fantastic feel.

Girls, don't be ashamed to take your pick of any of the Spartans and swoon, drool and pine. Their the classic male image -- great bods (six packs all), fighters, strong -- the type who can carry on with one arm and make savage love to you the whole night.

Yes, sometimes, we need some testosterones to overwhelm us. This movie definitely provides a good dose of it.
